About the Collaborator

The Wilma Theater, located on Philadelphia's Avenue of the Arts at Broad & Spruce Streets, exists to present theater as an art form, engaging artists and audiences in an adventure of aesthetic and philosophical reflection on the complexities of contemporary life.  The Wilma accomplishes this mission by producing thoughtful, well-crafted productions of intelligent, often daring plays that represent a range of voices, viewpoints and production styles.  From intimate drama to grandiose spectacles, The Wilma Theater is exploring it all in the state-of-the-art, 300-seat theater.  With exceptional collaborators and impeccable artistry, the ever-expanding vision has brought forth countless world premieres, Philadelphia premieres and numerous special events.
