About the Collaborator

Traverse Arts Project (TAP) was established to promote thought, dialogue, exchange of ideas, the genuine convergence of ideas expressed in public forums through artistic expression in a wide variety of media, including but not limited to theater, music, dance, visual arts, literature and the written word and film and video, with a specific charge to give access to LGBTQ artists in the underserved Philadelphia  LGBTQ  community .

Integral to our purpose is to spark conversation between opposing viewpoints and hopefully narrow the space between disparate groups. TAP seeks to reveal a mirror of societal reflection that explores the diversity of thought and preference within a wider and more diverse society.
